Teaching the Tongva A Third Grade Workshop

This 2-day workshop for 3rd grade teachers, co-sponsored by the UCLA American Indian Studies Center, CSU Dominguez Hills History Project, and the UCLA History-Geography Project, will explore Los Angeles’ indigenous history and indigenous present. Join us and Tongva educators for an interactive experience that will include content speakers, exploration of curriculum and cooking with native plants. Space is limited.
