Celebrating Generations of Native Bruins Alumni Reunion

The UCLA American Indian Studies Center cordially invites you to join us at the Celebrating Generations of Native Bruins alumni reunion on May 4, 2024, during the 39th Annual UCLA Pow-Wow. The reunion will be held at the UCLA James West Alumni Center from 10 am to 1 pm.

The reunion will kick off with a welcome reception where attendees can reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. This will be followed by special guest speakers who will share their experiences and insights on navigating their careers and advocating for Native communities.

The Celebrating Generations of Native Bruins alumni reunion will serve as a testament to this legacy and highlight the achievements of our Native alumni. Afterwards, enjoy the afternoon at the Pow-Wow with a designated canopy for all Native alumni.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus. This reunion will not only be a time for nostalgia and reminiscing, but also a time to look towards the future and the endless possibilities for Native students and communities. Let us come together to honor our past, celebrate our present, and inspire our future.

As part of the event, we are compiling interviews with UCLA Native Bruins, such as yourself, to gather your unique experiences and insights as a student at UCLA. Your valuable memories and stories would be an honor to include in the center’s history.
