Joshua Thunder Little

Director, Native American and Indigenous Student Success Center (NAISSC)

Joshua Thunder Little is an enrolled member of Oglala Lakota Nation (Oglala Sioux Tribe) and of Gabrielino/Tongva descent. Joshua grew up in Palm Springs, California and throughout his childhood became passionate about Native American representation in education. He earned his B.A. in History and Native American Studies and M.A. in History from the University of California, Riverside. Prior to joining the American Indian Studies Center at UCLA, Josh worked as the Assistant Director of the Native Indigenous Resource Center at Pomona College.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys off-roading, playing guitar, going to concerts, and traveling.
