SUMMARY:A Workshop On Healing Intergenerational Trauma
DESCRIPTION:Please join Alison Hunte and Michelle Nyangereka on January 30, 2024 at 2:30pm-5:30pm PT at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden for a workshop on healing intergenerational trauma. This workshop is sponsored by the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science (CDLS) and the American Indian Studies Center (AISC).\nThe workshop invites participants to think about how this type of trauma may be present in their lives and explores creative ways to mitigate its effects. We explore how art, community, and mindfulness can be sources of self-healing tools. The workshop is a relaxed space that gives opportunities for sharing, reflection, and discussion. You can find out more about Ali and Michelle on our event page.\nLight refreshments will be provided.\nPlease RSVP to join us in person! Se\nHealing Intergenerational Trauma Workshop\n
