The event will open with lunch and the opportunity to visit the museum. Alan Salazar, Chumash Cultural Educator and traditional storyteller, will talk to the group at the aps (Chumash traditional structures). Then, Everett Osceola, Cultural Ambassador for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, will talk about the building and meaning of a chickee, (Seminole traditional house or shelter).\n
